MEETING THE CHALLENGES OF TOMORROW’S WORLD

Since the beginning, the mountain ecosystem has been in the heart of Oxygene’s development.

Goals are ambitious while keeping the feet on the ground – Innovating without revolutionising! Using what exists already and implementing it in relevant areas in the most honest way possible.

But what does this mean in reality?

Fair and committed actions with the desire to improve on all social, environmental and economic factors, at the same time as maintaining the organisations initial values: Respect for others, fairness, solidarity and mutual aid.

Being able to stay current with the times while always being one step ahead, is very relevant for Oxygene in terms of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Ski Hut

is present in La Plagne and Val d’Isere. These rental ski shops were created to maximise the life span of ski equipment. Skis, snowboards and boots that are more than 5 years old come here to have their second life, providing attractive rental prices that allow even more people to afford to go skiing.

After another few years, often the equipment has enjoyed their rental life and they are then recycled by a specialised company. For those skis and boards still in good condition, an organisation called the Boîte à Ski in Grenoble takes control and puts them back on the market at an unbeatable price, raising money for ski grants to help students equip themselves inexpensively.
